Baptiste Audousset

Born in 1991, lives and works in Noisy-le-sec, France

The installations, sculptures and drawings of Baptiste Audousset focus on the system and formats of language and communication. He incorporates influences from poetry and literature in his work. Through research and experimentation into materials and forms, Baptiste Audousset pushes images and objects towards the limits of their meaning and representation. He questions art’s ability to translate, show or represent, playing with pseudonyms depending on the nature of his practice. Collaboration plays an important role, as Baptiste Audousset is the initiator and member of the artists’ collective Outreglot and co-editor of the fanzine Nuevos Boloss.
